The “E” Factor, ergonomics, the key for the company’s competitiveness

Pantastar trouser finisher, Trevistar CR 3 shirt finisher and Trevilpress CP cuff and collar press: the maximum comfort in ergonomics.

Ergonomics has always been one of the most important design criteria for Trevil.

There are two points of attention on which Trevil is focusing in the development of a new product: to avoid the unnecessary move ments of the operator and to ensure a correct working posture.

Here are some examples. The Pantastar trouser finisher is specially designed to make the operator work in an upright position for the entire cycle length, there is no need to bend for fixing the trousers on the machine.

Since the machine performs the complete ironing cycle, there is no need to reposition the garment between the rear side and the leg. In this way, the efforts and the manual operations are reduced. The cycle progress is made through a pedal, ensuring a full freedom of the hands, for dressing and undressing the dummy.

What about some eventual touch-ups? At the end of the cycle, the operator can make any touch-ups, and place the trousers on the hanger without leaving the workstation, thanks to the comfortable hanger-holder stand, located next to the dummy.

Speaking about shirts: with less than 5 square meters of occupied floor space, the Trevistar CR3 shirt finisher and the Trevilpress CP cuff and collar press, offer a very compact workstation that saves the operator tiredness and the unnecessary movements. The new sleeve clamps have been designed for an

easier, faster and more comfortable dressing.

The Trevilpress CP brings also its contribution to the “E” factor: through a spring-loaded basket with wheels specially designed to fit under the press, the shirts are very easy to reach in the most comfortable position for the pressing phase, avoiding like this the operators’ unhealthy bending.

What about the ironing tables? The winning point of Trevil ironing tables, including those with built-in boilers, is the servo-assisted height adjustment.

There are no tools required for the table height adjustment and can be carried out without any effort by a single person: this allows several operators to make shifts at the same table and, in just few seconds, to adjust it to the most suitable height for each one, for working in the most comfortable and correct position.

In addition, the vacuum and blowing tables are equipped with a foot pedal having the same length as the ironing board, so that the operator can work with the vacuum and blowing functions from any point, avoiding unnatural positions.
