Ozone is a highly unstable natural gas with oxidizing and disinfectant properties.
As soon as ozone comes into contact with organic matter, an oxidation reaction is made. Basically, all living microorganisms are killed, such as mites, bacteria, viruses, moulds, while the odor molecules are oxidized and transformed into other harmless molecules, this process eliminating all forms of bad odor. Since ozone is a heavier gas than air, it can penetrate inside the fibres of fabrics (mattresses, sofas, armchairs, carpets, car interiors, and especially helmets and shoes...). In this way it reaches and eliminates any microorganism and foul-smelling substance present even in the most difficult to reach points, impossible to thoroughly sanitize with a classic wash, however meticulous and accurate.
How does it work
Inside the cabinet is recreated what happens in nature, the natural cycle of ozone in the atmosphere regulated by the Sun.
first lamp that emits radiation at 200 nm wavelength, allows to split the oxygen and transform it momentarily into Ozone.
The ozone produced oxidizes all harmful substances inside the cabin. An internal industrial fan allows the correct air circulation and therefore the achievement of ozone in all hidden points.
A second lamp emitting radiation with a wavelength of 254 nm helps the natural ozone to oxygen conversion reaction.
When the ozone level is depleted, the machine unlocks the door, and you can pick up the material put inside, which is completely sanitized.
